Away From The Battle: Alone With The Lord

 

The vision of Shekinah Ranch is for individuals and couples in full-time Christian ministry to seek the Lord while staying in our cabin. While recreation is good and necessary, our primary focus is spiritual health. We have made every effort to create a place conducive to spending time alone with God. Understanding that it usually takes three days to unwind, we encourage you to stay at least five nights to make the most of your stay. If you are just looking for an inexpensive place to stay to recreate, it does not fit the purpose for Shekinah Ranch.

The cabin is for an individual or a married couple and is available in two options: One-week stay (5 nights), and two-week stay (12 nights)--preferably, check-in on Monday at noon (or later), and check-out on Saturday by noon. Contact us for other arrangements.

Our rate: $75/night plus a $50 housekeeping fee (per reservation). The payment is due at the time of confirmation of the reservation.

Cancellation policy: ​Cancellations made 30 or more days from your arrival date will receive a 100% credit towards a future stay. Cancellations within 30 days of your arrival date are not eligible for a credit. Please email us at shekinahranch@outlook.com to let us know if you need to cancel or change your reservation.

Shekinah Ranch Statement of Faith: 

1. We believe that there is one God, who has revealed Himself as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

2. We believe in the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.

3. We believe that Jesus died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead, and that to be saved we need to repent and receive the gift of eternal life by faith in Jesus.

4. We believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

5. We believe that God creates each person as male or female and that these two genders together reflect the image and nature of God. We believe that marriage is between one biologically born man and one biologically born woman as defined in the Bible.

6. We believe in the Church as the body of believers who have put their trust in Jesus Christ.

7. We believe that Jesus will one day return for His own.​

Shekinah Ranch Policies: 

• As per Grand County permit for this cabin, the maximum occupancy is two.

• The cabin is for adults only.

• This is a non-smoking and pet-free facility.

• Candles and open flames are not allowed inside the cabins.

• Campfires are allowed only in designated places and only when the fire danger is not elevated.

All Shekinah Ranch guests must agree with and abide by its Statement of Faith and Policies. Our facility staff reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel reservations or terminate stays if either or both is/are violated.

Conversation & encouragement: As you enjoy your time in this beautiful setting, you may find yourself reflecting on what God is doing in your life. We are not a counseling ministry, but should you find it helpful, there may be someone available to Shekinah Ranch guests to help process life through listening, conversation, questions and encouragement. Please let us know if you are interested in knowing more about this option.

A note about Wi-Fi and TV: Please note that there is no Internet access or TV at Shekinah Ranch. We encourage guests to use their electronic devices only when necessary.

• Laundry facilities are available within driving distance

• The cabin has in-floor heating (no fireplace)

• The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (shower/bath combo), and bedroom (queen bed)

• The cabin has a covered carport
