The Lord has met us during our time here in such encouraging ways. Our hearts have been renewed & refreshed!

 

Father God, thank you for meeting us in this place of solitude and sanctuary. We praise you for your majesty and creativity which was so evidently on display around us.

 

We are so very thankful for the time we spent here this week. Resting, recuperating and healing…It provided us with a restful pause.

 

What a beautiful place to spend a quiet, restful time away from schedules and the burdens of ministry. The space…is very special and a window to the beauty of God’s glorious creation. It was a blessing to have refreshment and solitude.

We enjoyed our rest, our writings, the late spring snows, and our special visit of our moose calf . . . We are going home with peace and rest.

God spoke, challenged & encouraged our hearts and we will go back . . . with greater zeal for God’s call on our lives.

Words cannot describe what my time at Shekinah Ranch has meant to me! From the moment I arrived on the property I could sense God’s presence and peace. The snowcapped mountains majestically proclaimed the glory of the Creator. My anxious and wounded heart was calmed by the beauty and stillness. My nights were so restful!

 

"Away from the Battle; Alone with the Lord." It is exactly what this place is about. The cabin is very comfortable, beautifully designed to help us observe the beauty of God's creation through its many windows. We were able to rest, sleep, read, meditate on God's word, contemplate the mountains and truly enjoy this week.
